ABSTRACTS
The abstract submission deadline is May 15, 2001.
The one page Abstract must be camera-ready and written in English, using the
following instructions:
- Type entirely within
the format 15.24 x 22.9 cm (6 x 9 in);
- Use 12 points Times New
Roman typeface; single space.
- Title must be typed in
capitals. Give one line spacing and type the name(s) of the author(s) on a
new line; superscript* used for presenting author; give first name, middle
initials, then last name. Leave another blank line and type in italics the
institution(s) where the research was carried out, including their
address. Use superscripts a,b,… to distinguish between authors
with different affiliations. Title, author’s names and institutions should
be centred.
- Give one line space and
type the text single spaced, without indentation.
- If references are
mentioned, please list them after a blank line in the order in which they
are cited in the text [1]. Their citation follows the instructions given
by the journal Carbohydrate Research.
- Formulae, equations and
figures are part of the Abstract and should not be submitted separately.
Please remember that the abstracts will be reduced to A5.
Only
one abstract per registrant can be accepted. However, a registrant may also be
a co-author on other presentations. Abstracts will only be considered for the
programme if the Symposium Secretariat receives a complete registration form
and payment by the deadline.
The
authors will be notified of the acceptance of their abstracts and the mode of
presentation by June 15, 2001.
